Vampire Fever is a billiard-like physics game, which you control your character “viro”(instead of the white ball) and try to infect by touching other creatures on the screen. The virus is very contagious among healthy, but it has one weakness: If two sick creature collide, they both heal.

rn

As you progress, you encounter with different creatures(like vampires, mummies, ghosts, electrocuting demons, chocolate demons, etc…) and artifacts(barrels, bombs, slicers, trees, portals, etc…) which have different properties/physics behaviours, meaning lots of additional fun.

rn

There are three modes included, normal game (with 120 levels), challenge mode(which include 6 levels and different gameplay mechanic) and a level creator.

rn

Other instructions about controlling character and GUI is in the game.

*** Important note for sponsors ***

rn

If you get stuck and try to test further levels, you can use “cheat console” which i prepared only for FGL. You can open it by clicking on the “vampire fever” logo in the main menu.

rn

(Since FGL doesn’t use “wmode”, sometimes you can experience some framerate loss in this version (when there are too many creatures moving, infecting and healing each other), but it is rare. When “wmode” is used, the game works pretty smooth. Also, there is a checkbox on the pause screens, which you can turn off effects/explosions, you can use it to boost performance.)

rn

*** Update – Nov. 25 2009 ***

rn

New version includes an in-game background. You can turn it on/off from pause menu. Also i added in-game music. You can turn off all music from right-click menu. (volume-slider affects both sound and music volume levels, so you can use that to turn off sounds)

*** Update – Jan. 18 2010 ***

rn

Upon request, “create levels” button is put on main menu and it’s more visible now. (It was in the awards section before)

rn

The ability to share/play user levels is added. You can share your own level by copying and pasting the special code which is unique to your level. This way, you can also play other people’s levels.

rn

*** Update – Jan. 26 2010 ***

Updated file with the latest version (which includes a new scoring system for the main game which can be integrated to sponsor API). Since the hi-score submission for primary sponsor is activated, i removed the cheat console.

      Demons and Thieves Solitaire

      Demons and Thieves Solitaire

A fantastic crossover of the famous Demon Solitaire and Forty Thieves Solitaire, Demons and Thieves will test your organization ability amidst different arrangements. Your goal in this game is to move all cards to the 8 foundations at the top of the screen, building up by suit and starting with the cards of the same rank as the card dealt to the leftmost foundation, wrapping from K to A if necessary. When the game starts, 1 face-up card will be dealt to the leftmost foundation serving as the starting rank. Under the foundations are 9 tableau piles. Each of the 4 tableau piles on the left side will be dealt 1 face-up card, while each of the 5 tableau piles on the right side will be dealt 8 face-up cards. 13 face-up cards will be dealt to the reserve pile on the left of the tableau piles. The remaining cards will be placed face-down to the stock pile at the top left corner of the screen, and 1 face-up card will be dealt to the discard pile on the right of the stock pile. The 4 tableau piles on the left side are to be built down by alternating colors, while the 5 tableau piles on the right side are to be built down by suit. In both cases, cards should be wrapped from A to K if necessary. You can move a group of cards to another tableau pile if it forms a legal descending sequence in its current tableau pile, for example, a 7 of spades and a 6 of hearts on a tableau pile on the left side can be moved as a group to a tableau pile on the right side, since they form a legal sequence on the left side. This kind of card movements is called “shift”. The top cards on the reserve pile and the discard pile can be moved to a tableau pile or a foundation. If you have run out of moves, you can click the stock pile to deal a new card to the discard pile. The stock pile allows 2 redeals. Challenge your skills now and make as many strategic shifts among the tableau piles as possible!
