This game only uses your mouse! Keep it in the grey circle!
When you start you should place your mouse in the middle of the grey circle in the middle of your screen. Then when the diamond flies towards you, you’re supposed to help it turn clockwise, you’ll see your points go up if you do it right, go in little small rotations inside the grey circle, and try to keep the mouse in the other side than the circle is in (but still inside the grey circle). Imagine your mouse being a planet, and the diamonds being moons attracted to your mouse through gravity. Try not to let the diamonds hit inside the middle circle, and try, as much as you can, not to let the diamond hit the side, as this will send it bouncing through space, and becoming uncontrolable. You may want to try to let the diamonds go in a big circle around the middle circle, so it doesn’t hit, and then just try to be gentle. It may take a little while to learn, but when you first learned it, I experienced from the few beta testers that tried it, that it’s fun and addicting. Let me know what you think, though.
Taken from my instructions in the menu’s “Instructions” tab element:
Gravinity is all about moving the diamonds, that get spawned the each game starts, clockwise around the middle circle. (It’ll tell you if you’re going the wrong way).
The diamonds are attracted to your mouse’s position, and reacts as if your mouse was a planet, and the diamonds are moons.
The whole game takes a bit of training, but it usually doesn’t take that long to get the hang of it. There’s a playground provided inside instructions, so you can play around and get the feeling of it. If you feel this playground isn’t big enough, you can always try to play the actual game a couple of times, since it won’t hurt if you don’t get many points there.
You’d want to stay away from the middle circle, since your score will be halved, each time you hit it. When you hit it it’ll flash red.
The more and more rounds you go around the middle circle, the faster the diamond will go. Hence it’ll be harder and harder to control the diamond when it’s at a very high speed. The good thing about the very high speed, is that it’ll gain you a lot more points, since it’ll go around the middle circle a lot faster. Try not to hit the wall when you’re at high speed, since it’ll make the diamond completely uncontrollable.
You get points in Gravinity by making the diamond(s) fly around the middle grey circle clockwise. Going counter clockwise will result in you losing points.
— Features! —
Gravinity is quick to play, and each game takes a maximum or 120 seconds. The user can choose between 10, 30, 60 or 120 seconds, on top of this, the user can choose how many diamonds they want to play with; 1, 2, 3 or 4.
Each combination of the game rule 1 and the game rule 2 ends up in a seperate highscore board. The highscore board uses a secure and encrypted stream, so you won’t be able to hack the highscore board. You can complete against your friends, other people over the internet and what-not, to get number #1 on each of the 16 highscore boards.
Even though it sounds pretty easy, the diamonds gain speed for each round, meaning that after 25 rounds, they’re really really quick, and the user will have a hard time not to lose points by hitting the middle circle.
